We have assisted the militaries of (and written CONOPS for) the USA, Australia, Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Peru, Hungary, NATO and many others.
We have supported Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM), FORCES and other simulation packages with VERY realistic combat scenarios, often showing where new or upgraded equipment can have a huge impact on the overall operational capability.
Our founder Mack McKinney is a hands-on defense systems analyst, having been an Air Battle Manager (military radar controller) in the USAF and then a defense analyst. He founded and supervised the first ACT/DACT Controller program for the USAF and has controlled Egyptian Mig-21 aircraft using Russian BARLOCK P-35/7 and Chinese P-440 radars during a Top Gun course he helped write and and teach in Cairo. He also employed Italian, French and other nations' C3I systems during his 11 years teaching foreign controllers.
After leaving the USAF, Mack worked for 16 years at Northrop Grumman and Westinghouse Defense, managing C3I R&D programs, leading teams of engineers and scientists building C3I systems, designing low observable (stealth) materials, and managing DoD and international projects. He then founded Solid Thinking Corporation to help the DOD and DHS craft solid, actionable CONOPS for new and existing combat systems and counter-terrorism approaches.
Mack is an active pilot and flys regularly in the ATC system across the US. He and Cindy are both engaged in the shooting sports and are avid motorcyclists.
